Just bought Meshell Ndegéocello’s cover of “The National Anthem” off of French iTunes, from the Radiohead covers EP (that I never knew existed), Exit Music 2. Fuckin bananas.

funny, bilal is performing here friday night and while i was downloading that never-released album ‘love for sale,’ i found out about the radiohead covers album. because he sings ‘high & dry’ on it. (i’ve seen him do ‘everything in its right place’ up in tramps.) and then later on, trying to buy the new meshell joint, it turned out she did ‘the national anthem’ (one of my all-time favs). good luck with powells, shawn, i’ll take a look!
